Infant Classes
Welcome! Kidd Academy offers educational child care for all children ages 6 weeks to 12 years of age in the Grand Prairie, Texas, area. Our staff is committed to providing a child initiated approach to learning that enriches the whole child. It's never too early to provide your infant with an environment that promotes learning through stimulating opportunities, while supporting and nurturing their individual needs. The amount of development that takes place in a child's first year of life is tremendous. Using the High Reach program, Kidd Academy offers early educational child care and a hands-on approach to learning.
By promoting language development and opportunity for positive social interactions, your infant will grow and develop with a solid foundation. One of the unique features offered by our early educational child care facility is a detailed family communication letter that will be sent home monthly to invite you to be a part of the program we offer. Also, included in the letter are recommended books, toys, and ways you can enhance the extended learning environment at home.
Our infant program is designed to build skills with your baby through engaging songs, rhymes, and stories as he or she begins to recognize voices, sounds, and words. We want you to be confident that you are providing your child with an enriching program and quality child care where your child can be safe, happy, and secure.

Toddler Classes
We strive to meet the needs of our youngest learners by providing an environment filled with stimulating activities that invite your child to explore and learn. Using the High Reach Curriculum, Kidd Academy teachers follow a child-centered approach to learning. All activities may be adjusted to provide individualized learning for older and younger learners. This will help to ensure that all Kidd Academy learners have a jumpstart on necessary skill development needed for future education.
Preschool Classes
By providing an environment filled with opportunities for exploration and adventure, your child will be encouraged to experience their senses and tempt their curiosity. Research shows that quality educational child care and family involvement are key elements in a child's development.
Kidd Academy recognizes the necessity and value of a well-planned approach to learning. By using the High Reach Curriculum, we will focus on many different areas of development and interest. A balance of teacher-guided, student-initiated activities, offer every child the opportunity to develop and demonstrate new skills.

Afterschool Care
Our afterschool program focuses on age appropriate skills and concepts. The child-initiated, teacher-guided approach to learning encourages each student to explore their own areas of individual interest while meeting objectives. Students will be able to participate in a variety of activities while in an environment filled with opportunity to explore learning in new and exciting ways. In addition, all children in our afterschool program will be given the opportunity to complete school assigned homework in a quiet atmosphere. Homework gets done and then we are ready to have some fun!

Dedicated Professionals
Every staff member must pass rigorous background checks and be trained to operate under KA standards of excellence. All staff members receive extensive ongoing teacher training and are certified in CPR and first-aid. Kidd Academy’s focus on training excellence allows students to experience the highest standards of safety and education.
